The mission at Greg Roy’s Academy is to make our students better humans. We believe that practice is permanent – through consistent training, our students learn that accountability, focus, and observation are the keys to success. While teaching Taekwondo, we help every student build a strong foundation of self-defense techniques. Taekwondo classes benefit people of all ages by improving overall strength and character.
Greg Roy started his training in 1988 with hopes to be just like his professor, Grandmaster Rick Hall. After ten years, he took his training to the next level and began to teach martial arts. Eventually, Greg’s journey led to him buying a school and opening Greg Roy’s Academy in June 1995. Today, Greg strives to continue building a legacy and passing down the passion for training that was instilled in him. He wants his students to share a love for training or even open their own academies someday.
